Consumer Sales Act

When selling to private consumers, the provisions of the Consumer Sales Act always apply, as well as the Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act. Read more about the Consumer Sales Act and what it entails here. When purchasing through a company or using a company name on the receipt, the Sale of Goods Act applies.

Age Limit

If you are under 18 years old, you must have permission from a guardian to shop with us.

Prices and Order Amount

All factual and pricing information is provided subject to typographical errors and possible inaccuracies in technical specifications. All prices in Hogsta Ridsport’s webshop include 25% VAT. Prices apply until new prices are published, with reservation for errors or significant price or currency changes from suppliers. For orders from outside the EU, VAT will be deducted at checkout, but local VAT and possible customs fees will be added upon import.

Confirmation

Once we have received your order, we will immediately send a confirmation email informing you that your order has been received. Please save this email, as it may be useful for future contact with customer service.

Order Confirmation

As soon as we have processed your order, we will email you an order confirmation including stock status and estimated delivery time. Since many of our products are made-to-order, we may need to wait for confirmation from the supplier before providing accurate information. However, we will contact you within 48 hours after the order is placed.

Shipping Costs

Shipping is always free within Sweden for orders over SEK 1500. Otherwise, a shipping fee of SEK 69 (DHL) or SEK 99 (PostNord) applies within Sweden.
Shipping costs to other countries are calculated at checkout based on destination and package size.

Delivery

Delivery within Sweden is made via DHL or PostNord within 1–3 business days for in-stock items. For non-stock items, the expected delivery time is shown on each product page. If your delivery is delayed, we will contact you via email and/or phone as soon as possible.

Delivery of Multiple Products

If you order multiple products, we generally ship them together. However, it may occur that items are delivered in more than one shipment.

Cancellation

Hogsta Ridsport works to minimize delivery times, and orders are usually processed immediately after purchase. Due to this, it is not possible to cancel an order once it has been placed. However, you may return your shipment directly at the collection point after receiving it. Return shipping costs SEK 69 (DHL) or SEK 99 (PostNord), paid by the customer.

Payment

We use Kustom Checkout to manage your purchase at our store. The Kustom Checkout is an independent checkout solution provided by Kustom AB through which payment methods and delivery options are available.

Kustom is not a bank and does not process payments directly, Kustom provides the interface and logic that displays the applicable payment methods.

When you use the checkout to complete your purchase, you will be offered different payment methods. These payment methods are processed by separate providers, depending on the payment method you select when you finalise your purchase. For the payment, you are redirected to a payment service provider, such as Klarna, Swish and Billie, where the purchase is completed.

In order to make your shopping experience effortless, the Kustom Checkout includes automatic filling of your information if you saved your information or previously entered your information in the Kustom Checkout.

Kustom will not perform any credit check, instead that may be performed by the payment method you have selected to pay for your purchase.

Returns – Right of Withdrawal

Under the Distance Contracts Act, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason. You may open the packaging to inspect the product. The right of withdrawal does not apply if seals are broken on items such as underwear. The product and packaging must be in essentially unchanged condition.

Custom-made products cannot be returned. This applies to items made to customer specifications (sizes, measurements, design) outside the standard template according to Swedish law (2005:59, Chapter 2 §11).

To return an item, contact us at info@hogstaridsport.com and provide:

  • Order number
  • Name
  • Address
  • Item number(s) to be returned

We will send you a return shipping label via email. Package the product securely. Preferably, the original packaging should be intact and not used as a shipping box. Damaged original packaging may result in a deduction.

Return the package via DHL or PostNord, or arrange alternative shipping yourself. Send returns to:

We appreciate if you state the reason for return. You may use the Swedish Consumer Agency’s standard form or the form included in your package.

Once we receive your return, Klarna will contact you regarding the refund. We refund the product value minus return shipping costs. Refunds are made via Klarna or to the original payment method once the return is received or verified.

Exchanges

If you want to exchange a product, place a new order for the desired item. Return the original order according to our return policy.
Free exchanges are available in-store.

Complaints

If a product is damaged, defective, or incomplete upon delivery, you have the right to file a complaint. Under the Consumer Sales Act, you may complain within three years if the defect is original and the product has been used correctly.

Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after discovering the defect (2 months is considered reasonable).

Please include photos when possible. A receipt or proof of purchase is required. Provide a clear description of the issue. The product should be clean if returned.

If needed, we will send a return label. Once approved, we will repair, replace, or refund the item. If repair/replacement is not possible, a full refund will be issued.

If the complaint is not approved, repair may still be offered at your expense.

In case of disputes, we refer to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN): www.arn.se.

Transport Damage

Visible damage should be reported at the pickup point and documented. Contact us at info@hogstaridsport.com with photos. Hidden damage must be reported within 5 days.

Unclaimed Goods

Packages must be collected within 3 days. Unclaimed packages returned to us may result in charges for return shipping and a handling fee of SEK 300.

Validity of Offers

Offers are valid while stocks last unless otherwise stated.

Business Purchases

For purchases made by a company, the Sale of Goods Act applies.

Personal Data and Privacy

All payment information is encrypted and protected according to law and industry standards. Personal data is required to process your order. Hogsta Ridsport is responsible for this data and does not share or sell it to third parties.

You may request access to your stored data and request corrections or deletion (except where retention is required by law).

Cookies

We use cookies to improve your experience. Cookies store small amounts of information on your device. No personal data is stored. You can disable cookies in your browser.

According to Swedish law (SFS 2003:389), visitors must be informed about cookies and their purpose.
