Joanna Backelin

Joanna grew up and lives on Ekerö, and she has worked at Hogsta Ridsport since February 2021.

She was crazy about horses already as a small child and, like many others, she started riding at a riding school for a few years, and in 2010 she got her first own pony. Then she competed in lighter classes in both showjumping, dressage and eventing, but it was showjumping that eventually became the favorite. Today she has a gelding called "Rulle", born in 2009 by Ronaldinho H ue. Cor de la Bryere. They have competed in classes  up to 120 cm.

In addition to the horses, photography has always been a big interest for Joanna, and she has taken a high school education in photography. Joanna is partly responsible for our social medias at Hogsta Ridsport and takes many of the pictures you see there.
