This sheepskin pad has the same shape as the Stübben Equi-Soft girth. The Equi-Soft pad attaches easily underneath the girth using its Velcro fastenings. When using a sheepskin pad with the Equi-Soft girth, it not only reduces pressure but also minimizes the risk of chafing on the horse. The sheepskin comes from EA Mattes and is of the highest quality.

Be sure to keep the sheepskin on your Equi-Soft pad clean so that sweat and dirt from the horse do not cause it to become stiff.

Washing instructions:
Mattes saddle pads stay beautiful longer when washed frequently.
Machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30°C using Mattes’ special detergent MELP for lambskin products.
Use plenty of water if possible. Do not use fabric softener and preferably avoid other detergents for sheepskin. Normal spin cycle.
Tumble dry on cool or max 30°C, or air dry in the shade.
Avoid direct sunlight.

For easier cleaning:
Gently brush with the coarse side of a kitchen sponge (such as a Scotch-Brite). Do not use a brush, as this can damage the sheepskin.
