Weymouth bits

When it's time to buy a weymouth for your horse, it's important to find something that the horse likes. Should the port be high or low, long or short cheeks, and what mouth size should you have for your horse? These are questions we are often faced with and we will be happy to help you with what kind of weymouth different horses seem to like. Riding on a weymouth makes higher demands on you as a rider, as you ride with two reins and the weymouth is a stronger bit than a normal bridle, so it is important to be more careful with the reins when riding with it.

Hogsta Ridsport has Sprenger's test center, which means you can buy/rent a Sprenger bit for 10 days so you can ride with it to see if it fits your horse and if it doesn't fit, simply return the bit. We will then repay you the entire purchase price for the bit, with the exception of a small percentage, which instead becomes rental costs.
