The unique mesh creates a gap between the plaster and the wound itself, protecting it from dirt, insects and contact from items such as rugs without irritating the injured area. This construction helps maintain a moist and protected environment that supports natural healing and prevents the wound from drying out.

The plaster is water resistant and can normally remain in place for up to seven days. For best adhesion, the area should be thoroughly cleaned and, if necessary, clipped before application. When used on more mobile areas, Rheva’s extra fixation can be applied for additional security.
