CEECOACH 2 allows instructors and riders to communicate during training without the need for a mobile phone, mobile network or internet connection. The units communicate directly with each other, with a range of up to 500 metres. Up to six people can communicate within the same group.

The main difference compared with CEECOACH 1 is that CEECOACH 2 also supports compatible wireless Bluetooth headsets. A wired headset with a 3.5 mm connection can also be used. Wireless Bluetooth headsets are sold separately.

CEECOACH 1 and CEECOACH 2 can also be used together, provided the units are running compatible software versions. Software version SW 2.5 or later is required to connect the two models. CEECOACH 1 must be used with a wired headset.
