About the headpiece:
Have you ever tried to slide a finger underneath the headpiece after putting a bridle on your horse? In most cases, it is difficult to fit even one finger underneath.

The Finesse Bridle features a completely different headpiece design compared to other bridles on the market. The headpiece on these bridles and double bridles has been developed to distribute and reduce pressure on the horse's poll.

The technology behind the headpiece has been developed by engineers and specialists in pressure distribution, who have also designed hospital mattresses for bedridden patients where pressure sores are a common concern.

The headpiece is made from a unique fibre material that allows blood circulation through the tissue of the poll regardless of the horse's conformation.

The people behind Finesse Bridles:
A study conducted by two veterinary students together with Dr Adrian Harrison on 12 Icelandic horses showed that all horses achieved significantly improved movement throughout the body compared to when ridden in a conventional bridle. This means the horse is less likely to experience the same level of muscular strain associated with traditional bridles.

The positive effects are not limited to the neck and poll. The Splenius and Brachiocephalicus muscles, two myofascial lines that greatly influence the horse's movement from the poll to the hind legs, were also positively affected. A more detailed report on the subject was scheduled to be published by the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen.
