The Freedom Turnout Light from Bucas is a turnout rug with a full neck, made from durable 600 denier ripstop polyester with a waterproof rating of 5000 mm and breathability exceeding 3000 g/24 h/m². The rug features Bucas Dermo-care lining, a smooth, glossy lining that helps reduce the risk of rubbing while helping to keep the coat smooth. The turnout rug is equipped with cross surcingles, a tail flap, a fillet string, attachment points for leg straps, and fastens at the front with a T-bar closure and hook-and-loop fastening.

The Freedom Turnout features Bucas' classic cut without shoulder darts, giving it a slightly slimmer fit than other Bucas rugs. Narrow horses and thoroughbred types can usually wear their normal size, while broader horses may find the fit a little snug across the shoulders and are generally recommended to choose one size larger.
