Waldhausen Health & Care Ice Layer Neck Piece is designed to provide even and gentle cooling of the horse’s neck. It is used together with the matching Ice Layer cooling rug, but can also be attached separately to a headcollar.

The material is activated with water and creates a pleasant evaporative cooling effect that helps reduce body temperature. The neck piece is particularly useful on hot summer days, during transport, or after intense training sessions when the horse needs to cool down.

It is easy to use and requires less water than traditional hosing. It attaches securely with hook-and-loop fastenings to the rug and/or headcollar for a secure fit.
