Neue Schule Turtle Tactio Flex is a double-jointed loose ring snaffle specifically developed for horses with a larger or sensitive tongue. The mouthpiece directs rein pressure towards the central area of the tongue while reducing pressure on the more sensitive areas closer to the bars.
Its distinctive Turtle centre link keeps the two sides of the mouthpiece close together over the centre of the tongue. The Tactio design directs pressure towards the middle of the tongue, while the Flex construction provides wider contact surfaces that lie parallel to the tongue, helping to distribute pressure over a larger area.
The mouthpiece takes up relatively little space around the bars and is designed to provide more room in the mouth, making it particularly suitable for horses with a larger tongue. The bit can be used with different types of noseband.
