Satinox is made of stainless steel with a satin finish, meaning the material has been specially treated to achieve a surface that is well suited for the horse’s mouth. The eggbutt bit has a double jointed anatomical design that distributes pressure evenly across the horse’s tongue. The Satinox bits are similar in model to the rest of Sprenger’s range and are shaped to provide direct and quick contact with the horse’s mouth.
