The horse's intestinal flora is sensitive to changes and can be affected by factors such as changes in feed, stress or antibiotic treatment. An imbalance in the gut may result in loose or watery droppings, or the passing of free faecal water separately from normal droppings. Trikem Gut Balance is developed to support the natural intestinal flora and can be used for both temporary and recurring digestive issues.

Gut Balance contains the prebiotics FOS and MOS, which nourish beneficial bacteria in the gut. It also contains maerl, a natural red algae that helps maintain a balanced pH environment, and highly absorbent bentonite clay. Added vitamins provide nutritional support during digestive disturbances, while liquorice contributes to palatability.

Dosage:
10 ml (8g) per 100kg body weight per day.
Large horse (500kg): 50 ml per day
Pony (250kg): 25 ml per day

For more severe digestive issues, the dose may be doubled.
The powder can be mixed dry into the feed or moistened immediately before feeding. Do not leave the moistened supplement standing for an extended period.
