The Shires Deluxe Fly Mask with ears and nose cover protects the horse against insects and strong sunlight and is especially suitable for horses with pale noses or blazes prone to sunburn.
Fine mesh around the eyes provides 60% UV protection, while the shaped construction helps keep the material raised away from the eyes to reduce irritation and maintain good visibility. Across the rest of the head, the airy tightly woven fabric offers over 70% UV protection while still allowing plenty of airflow. The shaped nose section provides additional coverage without restricting airflow around the muzzle.
An elasticated poll section together with Velcro fastenings under the jaw help keep the mask secure and comfortable. Inside, fleece bound seams help reduce rubbing and prevent insects from getting underneath the mask.
